I have to be honest. I'm an avid wine enthusiast and consider my wine palette to be more sophisticated. I will usually partake in local Midwest regional wines only for entertainment and curiosity, and being one that preferrs mostly red wines, the bulk of local wines tend to be white.
My 13 other wine friends that were part of our tasting experience at 65 vines, all had very similar opinions.
We absolutely were blown away with the quality, complexity and interesting artistry of the ALL the wines, 4 whites and I delicious rich red all exceeded our expectations! We all bought wine to bring home, and mine is actually gone already. We had it at a family dinner and AGAIN it was equally impressive as it was at the tasting, I lift my hat to Scott and Julie for their craftsmanship in producing very interesting and lovely tasting wines that come from grapes in our valley! I will be back to buy more for sure!
By the way, the vineyard is exquisitely beautiful and their operations and marketing also commendable!
